Sept. 21, 2022 - Research and Sponsored Programs is pleased to share that the National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded $11,847 in continued funding to Professors Ahmed Awad, Cynthia Flores, and Blake Gillespie鈥檚 project, 鈥淐ollaborative Research: AGEP Transformation Alliance: A California HIS Alliance for Pedagogy as Preparation for the Professoriate.鈥�
The project provides pedagogical training and faculty career mentoring to prepare underrepresented minority (URM) doctoral students, who are advanced to candidacy for the Ph.D., for teaching-focused faculty careers at colleges and universities.
